HELLO to all my tractor buddies,<br>

Went to get the local Sunday paper this morning and guess what was on the front page? 3 whining families that had members get killed having flipped their 1940s and and 1950s tractor over pulling out stumps. They whined, moaned and growned loud enough that a "DO-GOODER" Democrat Michigan legislator has introduced legislation that would make it against the law to operate ANY tractor not equipped with a Roll bar. Now we might get the tractor police out on the prowl looking for those "evil" Ford 8n,9n, and Jubliees without Roll bars to write heafty fines and tickets because IDIOTS killed themselves doing something real stupid. What do you guys think about our liberal Democrats who are hard at work protecting the stupid?<br>

Had the same thing happen to my shaft drive Ariens deck last year. Got some of the same thickness metal as the deck and carefully ground out the edges of where the old deck rusted out. I then took the new same thickness metal and matched up an exact fit LEVEL replacement and MIG welded it in to place and ground it level to the surrounding existing deck metal. I then drilled new mounting hole for the gear box and repainted it and PRESTO.....You couldn't even tell the difference where the new metal ended and the old metal started. Just the new deck 14 gauge shell without the parts runs 1100.00 for my Ariens. Fixed it good as new for just my time (an entire Saturday) and some MIG Wire and gas.

You should be able to use the front loader and the 3 point at the same time. But the question I ask is how do you steer the tractor when you got one hand on the 3 point hydro lever and the other hand on the loader lever. Both levers are on the right side?? I used to play drums and I can't figure your trick out. The 400 pound 3 poit lift capacity is low, MY Ariens 14 hp can lift 400 on its Cat 0 3 point lift. Do you have enough hydro fluid in the resevoir????

What is the going price for a B1750HST with a Woods 145 FEL 48" bucket with turf tires, power steering, ROPS with Top and 663 total hours? I would say excellent overall shape.

Buy yourself a PTO hydro pump and hook your backhoe into the PTO pump. Hook your frontloader back up the way it is suppose to be run. Problem solved. running your backhoe off your loader requires special plumbing. PTO fix is a simpler solution.

My local dealer has to send it to Hobart to getit fixed so, I might as well send it to Hobart/ Miller direct. That is the way it works. Most dealers DO NOT REPAIR.

I have the same tractor as you do, B-2150HST. I installed a new Wood's 1006 loader with a 54 inch bucket 2 years ago and it has served me well with no problems. Plan on spending 2700.00 and that includes dealer installation.

I use Chevron's 100% synthetic hydro fluid and for 5 gallons it was 78 bucks. Chevron said it was 100% comaptible with what Kubota recommends. Synthetic hydro fluid run cooler than regular tranny fluid.

MY Praire Dog 7.5 backhoe has 3,100lbs at the bucket and 2250 at the dipper according to mfg's WRITTEN specs Which are not always true. After I put a hydro pressure gauge on the hydro pump I found hydro pressure was 1800 psi...So being the little "MOD" guy that I am...... I tweeked the master relief valve to a shade over 2300, which is an extra 500 psi. You do the math and tell me what new force figures I have now. pressure multiplied by the diameter of the cylinder= FORCE <br>

HEY GUYS, LOL, Now that I am thinking about it, I have two calibrated 10,000 and 20,000 lbs +-1% load cells thaT I CHECK TENSILE test machines, and I could have the lab make up some heavy duty pull rings and see what the hoe really pulls. Who wants to bet that mfg's overstate backhoe force figures? I could hook the load cell right on the teeth of the bucket and pull against a tree and get a LBS. reading right where you want it. I think I'm going to do that. Plus I want to know the total weight of my Ariens GT14 garden tractor is anyway and my dump trailer. Gimme a couple weeks.

I think if I had a tractor that was missing, I would call the tractor police and see if the could get it on the Hot sheet. A missing tractor is NOT fun especially if you are still paying on it. A missing mother-in-law is much better than a missing tractor I would think.

My guess is it is a head gasket. I think it would have seized first and since it didn't ......that is good. The 64,000 dollar question is where did the anti-freeze all go in the first place????

Let me give you a little more insight on how Wal-Mart REALLY works since I have a father -in-law that was hired by Sam Walton himself and retired 10 years ago as a regional VP and also a millionaire.

Did you ever notice why the vast majority of Wal-Mart's employess are women (85%)? That is done on purpose because Wal-Mart believes women are secondary wage earners and Wal-mart can hire them for less money and benefits because these women are lucky to even have a job. During a WalMart job interview, a key benefit hammered to the prospective employee is the 10% off discount on employee purchases. A big moral sticking point between my father-in-law and I is Walmart's former "fratenizing" rule that bans ANY type of dating between employees in management. My father-in-law actually had to fire MANY people because they were caught going out on dates with both people being employed by Wal-Mart. I kindly rubbed it in my father-in-laws face when I cut out the article in the paper that Wal-Mart LOST a federal Court of Appeals lawsuit on firing people who date each other off Wal-Marts clock. Before the lawsuit, MANY people got unemployed real quick if they got ratted on by bitter fellow emplyees when they dated. CAN YOU IMAGINE LOSING YOUR JOB BECAUSE YOU DATED AN EMPLOYEE???? The recent fervor over Wal-Mart using illegal aliens for store cleaning is a JOKE because it has been happening FOREVER.

I once asked my father-in-law if Wal-Mart told you to do something illegal or immoral what would he do? He though about it and replied, if Wal-Mart told me to do it and if I wanted to keep my job and lifestyle, I would do it and leave the legal ramification to the Wal-Mart' Legal Department. Isn't that what Germany's SS officers said about the Nazi's. To some people Wal-Mart is NOt a Retailer.......IT IS A RELIGION. For others it is happy face and a low price.

I can see bad things happening using a front rotating 3 point tiller being used when the tractor is going in reverse.

What's the price difference? Both are good hoes but I believe the Bushhog has dual swing cylinders instead of that funky single chain set-up Wood's has on the 7500. For that reason alone I would select the Bushhog hoe.

You should be OK......replace all the external damage like belts, hoses, wires and other flamable stuff that got toasted. Internally, I can't think of anthing that would be damaged.

I'll get you some pictures as soon as I get this 24 inch stroke hydro cylinder hooked up and a coat of paint get's sprayed, but right now I had to switch gears and build me another 16 foot tandem since some guy at the gas station fell in love with my first 16 foot tandem and asked me if it was FOR SALE.......I said, "Yes sir Everything I have is for Sale". Next thing I know is that I have a fist full of cash and no trailer. LMAO

6 foot of 3/4 galvanized pipe for the boom holding 3 spray tips. One hand wand, 1 brass valve for switching between boom spraying and wand spraying 25.00. Hose, spray tips, and clear plastic tubing. 20.00. Tractor cat 1 pins 6.00. 25 feet of goodyear 3/8ths spray hose 15.00. 2 foot of 2inch PVC for a holster for the spray wand 3.00<br>

Weld up a 3point frame for the barrel. 12 volt pump automatically shuts off at 60ps...if you start pumping it turns on. A remote hand held switch gives you complete control from the drivers seat. Works like a charm. 3 Fan spray tips will give you an 8.5 foot spray path. The hand wand and 60psi will shoot a stream of liquid 30 feet with good volume. <br>
